Performance Testflugzeug Beach Baron , 50% WOAI

English (Pictures see above)

Today I present you a preview of my versions of EDAU Riesa for P3D v2 and FSX. There are separate compilations, each 100% native. Download along with manual in German and English there after the release on this page.

History

Specifically, the airfield RiesaGöhlis is about two kilometers east of the center of Riesa in Saxony situated airfield between Leipzig and Dresden. It has a 1,000 m long asphalt runway and a 600 m long grass runway. Both tracks have an orientation of 300 ° / 120 ° and located directly behind the other.

The airfield is designed for helicopters, microlight aircraft, balloons and aircraft up to a permissible maximum weight of 5,700 kg. Aircraft with a maximum authorized weight of more than 5700 kg require a special permit from the aviation Sacramento County.

A special feature of the airfield is it that lies between the airfield and the runway a public road (Leutewitzer road). The Aircraft must cross at an automatic traffic lights this always.

Directly on the airfield is located among others a restaurant, the resident club flyer Riesa eV and the flight school from ULflight center Riesa.

I have rebuilt the airfield largely authentic for images, not excluded creative changes.

Features:

  •  High-resolution georeferenced aerial view of Airfields and handcolored with real five seasons (automatically) and night switching
  • Custom Switching of the place vegetation in winter /hard winter
  • Additional variant for lower computers (switchable)
  • Detailed 3D models of all buildings and site Facilities
  • Mainapron (hard court), as well as upstream Eastern and Westapron (Grass)
  • Heliport and 12 Parking Slots, some with parking code to control the AI
  • Custom lighting of the square, as well as the Run- and Taxiways, including night textures
  • GSX compatible
  • Static aircraft
  • Custom AI traffic with flight plans
  • Fully compatible with all ORBX products

Other:

The Photogound was fully adapted for all 5 seasons on the ORBX environment, provided with masks and colored by hand, so that he almost unobtrusively fits into the environment. The top of the slider also seen.

The change of seasons is done with the selection in the simulator automatically

For the vegetation on the scenery itself, there for the winter exchange files.

For lower CPU `s  I put additional exchange files inside the Installation, where is no 3D grass and no birds is available. In the winter changeover these features are also not included.

All building was created with in high details but Frame friendly. This can also be done with 1024 textures, how youl will see.

Differences betwen the versions of FSX and P3D v2

In Prepar3D all the shadows are calculated automatically according to the sun, so here no shadows need to be developed. This therefore absent from the buildings and trees in FSX.

For FSX other effects for the Runwaylights was used.

The version for Prepar3D will NOT run in FSX.

Who FSX and P3D v2 Versions offers in one installer with the same files, distributes FSX and made this only P3D v2 compatible. The same procedure as for FS9 and FSX over many years. I call this sham and want to show that things can be different and make separate downloads , which were also compiled separately, available.

Performance test airplane Beach baron, 50% WOAI

My development system includes a full installation with 700 sceneries. All performance figures are calculated so real in a running system. All my objects were Drawcall optimized, unless impossible for technical reason.

FSX :

Apron: consistently between 45 and 60 frames

Runway: consistently between 40 and 55 frames

P3D v2

Apron:
ca. 50-60 frames without the shadow of the building, three monitors 40-45 frames
with all the shadow 40 frames, 35 frames three monitors
Heavy weather with all the shadow 25 frames

Runway: how Apron + 5 to 10 frames

At lower settings consistent 60 frames be possible. All test was provided with 50% WOAI under ORBX environment conducted incl. Vector and with my settings to find, under „Anleitungen“ on this website.
